Pushkin: Yikes! I've seen some big Maine Coons, but, yow! Bigger by far than "Big Kitty", even! (She's a Rag Doll- a breed I'd never heard of before I met my wife).

CalGold, nope, not a Lynx, althought Maine Coons have Lynx-like ears and some other similar traits.

really Stephen, those are great cats, incredible icon. Alright, I'd like the 1907 Quarter icon, but how do you get it? I looked it up in the list and it wasn't there. Help

funny we mentioned Pushkin's "Lynx". It's actually one of my favorite winter constellations for deep-sky objects(back to the eyepiece/loupe/astronomy thread!). Included are the incredible spindle galaxy NGC-2683 and the "intergalactic tramp" globular cluster NGC-2419!

Just for the record. I do not have four Maine Coons. I have two Persians and two good 'ol regular cats. I quite frequently take care of the Maine Coon who lives across the hall from us. His owner travels frequently. He is one big bruiser. I like him a lot.
