a higher grade, sure, and i might grow wings and learn to fly.

what if you grew wings and then still couldnt fly? Seriously, does this seem fraudulent to anyone else?

  • It's only fraudulant if you try to upgrade it, fail; and he fails to refund your money (his ad doesn't say anything about the regrade fee, so you're out that). What is fraudulant about a seller who offers your money back if a coin does not meet the sellers expectations (e.g. the seller thinks it will upgrade)? Personally, I wouldn't buy it assuming it would upgrade, but i sure don't see any fraud. Of course, that may change if you ask the buyer a week or so from now!!

Sorry.. I meant does this reek of being potentially fraudulent. Obviously you wouldnt know unless you followed through with it and failed. I was thinking ahead of that step since it was obvious it would need to fail first.

Also, there is that estate thing.. and not too many old coins in the lot. As a matter of fact.. plenty of STATE QUARTERS!!

say what? i don't know, even this sniper guy, when he gets caught, is going to be presumed innocent. yet you think this guy is some kind of fraud.

guy has no negatives. yet you think he wants to steal a couple bucks from you?

is the grade difference even worth an upgrade attempt? what is it a fifty dollar difference from 64 to 65, at best?

gee whiz, can't believe i'm wasting my life responding to this thread.

    think i need a break......

If somebody had to liquidate my "estate", there'd be nothing but moderns... including some state quarters. He's not claiming to be selling the estate of a 100 yr old who stashed the coins away when he was young. image
    Give the guy a break.

There's the hype of old PCGS holders being undergraded.
First of all which type of old green holder? There's only 5 different ones but only 1 has any potential to be undergraded and Washington Quarters wasn't a series that was undergraded in the old rattlers anyway.
If I were going to hype a coin's grade then I would just have to show you a picture to prove it so you would bid lots of $$$$$.
I wouldn't be afraid to bid 64 money if I needed that model though. I see he lives near Officer Braddick so if he ripped me off I would let Officer Braddick kick in his door and spray him with pepper spray, taze him, hit him upside the head with his stick (you ever had a cop jab you in the ribs with that little round metal ball on the top of his stick? It really hurts!) and get my money back.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

Yeah but it wasn't a police officer that did it.
