BAW.....H !!!

I had a little interest in this auction since I bid on it. But my bid (less than $20.00 fell way short of the final price). The final price is radiculus hence the bovel movement in my title. Any comments on this susps. looking coin?

What do you want to bet that coin would be body-bagged if it was cracked out and sent in today?

  • Yeah, I'll comment. It's dramatically toned. The toning seemed to pass muster by a respected third party grading company, and the seller is one with a reputation for dealing in high-end colorfully toned coins. It doesn't surprize me that it went for that much.

A week or two ago they sold a 1957 dime with monster toning graded PCGS66 It went for $250.00. That's $240.00 dollars more than I would sell you my PCGS66 for.

  • Does the fingerprint in the obverse toning imply originality or is it easier than I imagine to AT a fingerprint in the tone?
Buy the coin...but be sure to pay for it.
