Mark, A copyright overlay is a good idea, even better to disable the feature of saving pictures from your web-site. Several companies practice this, one is abc distributing, inc. The link below goes to their homepage, from there click on one of the catalogs, that will show the catalog pages in sequence. Try and right-click on one of those thumbnails as you would to "save picture as" and you will get an error prompt stating that "Advertising copy and images Copyright abc distributing, inc.- All rights reserved. Our work is not Public Domain, and should NOT be taken from this site." Your MIS guys should be able to implement this into your site as well. Joe P.S. KUDOS to all who helped shut this scammer down! What I find fascinating is the fact this fellow actually went to the trouble to get Equifax Verified!! Maybe the cops should have set up a sting so he would steal more than $5k and be charged with felony grand theft?!!
Almost most interesting is how worthless getting verified is from the a buyer or seller's point of view. To bid in Superior auctions you need to be verified [cost $5 i believe] or post a CC. Big freaking deal, this proves it is worthless. One more hassle for the good guys and a low hurdle for the bad guys!

That'll slow the crooks down, but won't stop them completely. One can still do a screen capture and crop the scan out of it.
