Besides Lucy's great smile, which forum members actually have a picture of themselves when they list a post? Imagine how east it would be to find forum members at a coin show if there were more pictures up?

Yeah, but I'm not Empress Jayne. She's a whole lot better looking.

Funny... he looks TALLER in real life.
I couldn't resist. I thought you would look better with TWO old dollars.

I think that shot makes him look like Hitler.

I don't think it's a stingray or a corvette or a porshe if I spelled it right.
While I had my type set out for another thread I took a pic of my 1799 dollar. Someone had cleaned it at one time when I bought it but since has started to retone nicely. Many times I wished that I had waited and located one with the original toning but was told these things get very black and it's not uncommon that these early dollars end up getting cleaned up sometime
in their last 200 years of circulation. Yours looks more original with much better detail.

This one grades Fine+ according to the seller.

The rims look fantastic for a fine......oh ..fine +....ok,I agree then.VF35 IMO.
Is that what anyone else says? EF even maybe.
I think the missing hair details above the ear along the temple keeps it from grading any higher according to the ANA picture grade book. Having not looked at this coin for over a year I was surprised with the toning it has taken on but the reverse shows far less. When I bought it 5-6 years ago the coin was all white and I had hopes then that it would tone. Paid $525 at that time.
It may be worth $750 today.
