If you pay for the shipping, I'll give you fifty cents(via Paypal) for an Oswald half, then I'll have one too image

    image
  • 20... i had to see how rare they were so i looked for them in my weekly rolls of halves. rarity: less rare than 80% or 40% silver halfs

You are surveying a rather small audience, take an ad out in the Wall Street Journal, NY Times, LA TImes, etc....

Should get a better reponse. Also, get an 800 number so people can call in.

In my opinion, the die crack is so minor and your reference to "Oswald Kennedy" is so disrepectful that nobody cares.

Zero. None. Nada. Zip. There is no such thing as an Oswald Kennedy (you calling it that doesn't make it so).

To me it accuratly depicts the the small caliber of weapon used in this tragedy and the angle of trajectory. It is also to scale. What are the odds of that crack being in that location with that angle? Don't get me wrong no disrespect intended. I just think it is unique.

It's neat & cool but because Prestige sets are high priced anyway it would be unusual for anyone to pay much prem just to get the JFK.

  • KINGCON, I SEE YOU HAVE ONCE MORE MANAGED TO START A THREAD THAT ULTIMATELY LED TO YOU POSTING A LINK TO ONE OF YOUR HORRENDOUSLY OVERPRICED DIE-CRACK AUCTIONS. AND WHAT AN AUCTION IT IS. I SEE YOU WILL AT LEAST THROW IN THE SHIPPING AND INSURANCE FOR FREE IF YOU ARE LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET SOME FOOL TO GIVE UP $1,963 FOR WHAT BARELY QUALIFIES AS A PREMIUM COIN. BY THE WAY WHERE DID YOU COME UP WITH THAT PRICE IS THAT JUST ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR MARKETING PLOYS DESIGNED TO MAKE PEOPLE THINK THAT YOU ACTUALLY DO KNOW THE VALUE OF THIS COIN BY LISTING A VERY SPECIFIC PRICE? REGARDLESS OF THE WORTH OF THE COIN I MUST SAY THAT AD IS SURE TO MAKE THE SALE FOR YOU AFTER ALL DOESN'T EVERYONE GET EXCITED BY AN AD THAT IS JUST ONE BIG BLOCK OF UPPERCASE WORDS THAT JUST GO ON AND ON WITH NO CASE DIFFERENCES TO INDICATE POINTS OF EMPHASIS OR EVEN THE FIRST WORD IN A SENTENCE? ON THE SUBJECT OF THE FIRST WORD OF A SENTENCE WHEN I WAS IN SCHOOL THEY TAUGHT US TO SKIP TWO SPACES AT THE END OF A SENTENCE BECAUSE THAT AND THE FACT THAT THE NEXT WORD IS CAPITALIZED MAKES FOR MUCH EASIER READING BECAUSE THE READER CAN ACTUALLY TELL WHERE ONE SENTENCE ENDS AND THE NEXT BEGINS. HEY I HAVE AN EXCELLENT IDEA WHY DON'T YOU TAKE YOUR SPAM THREADS AND YOUR INCESSANT REQUESTS FOR THE VALUE OF YOUR LAME DIE-CRACK COINS AND KEEP THEM TO YOURSELF AFTER INSERTING THEM DEEPLY INTO A DEEP DARK CREVICE THAT CAN BE ACCESSED THROUGH ONE OF THE ORIFICES ON YOUR BODY. I DON'T KNOW YOU AND PERHAPS IT IS NOT MY PLACE TO JUDGE YOU BUT I REALLY DON'T GIVE A CRAP I'M DOING IT ANYWAY AND I THINK I SPEAK FOR MANY OF US HERE WHEN I SAY WHY DON'T YOU GO TAKE A FLYING f%CK AT ROLLING DOUGHNUT.

You can't mess with kryptonite. KINGCOIN has tons of it. Since you can fly perhaps you can take a FLYING f%CK at that donut. 1963 was the year that event took place. And don't tell me not to use caps they are much much more easy to use if I want.

I think I saw the devil in the reflection. Look by the "I" in Liberty.

It's him in there I tell you. It's Satan. You better cast him out before relisting it. That sure scared me out of buying it.

  • Clankeye,

Please accept my most sincere apologies for the misuse of your Indian name. Perhaps it will not seem so offensive if you see it in the proper context. Look at it this way... when someone is told to

    << <i>WHY DON'T YOU GO TAKE A FLYING f%CK AT ROLLING DOUGHNUT >>

it is because if they DID take a flying f%ck at YOU, they would be in for a world of hurt. image

Rolling Doughnut is wise in the ways of man. He understands and forgives your unkowning use of his sacred name.

Also, Rolling Doughnut would be sure to see any object flying at him with such intent. Rolling Doughnut is fast like the wind. And full, with the air that is hot.

  • KingCon,

What's all this about kryptonite and me having the ability to fly? Oh.... wait a minute... I see where you got confused. You think that because my handle is ClarkOfKent that I think I'm Superman? No, no, no... I live in Kent, and my name is Clark, so it's just a play on words. People would no sooner mistake me for Superman than they would actually believe you to be the "King of Coins".

Using 1963 as the starting bid was a pretty creative move... I didn't pick up on it. I guess that's as good a method as any to value your merchandise, since you obviously don't have a clue otherwise.

    And, as far as

<< <i>don't tell me not to use caps >>

goes.... uh.... I do believe I will continue to tell you that as often as I wish. They may, for some preverse illogical reason, be

<< <i>much much more easy to use >>

, but evidently my point was totally lost on you. I was pointing out the difficulties in READABILITY of your assinine eBay ad. I would think that since the object of an ad is to capture, and keep, the potential buyer's attention that you would be more concerned with how easy it is to read than with what's easier for you as the typist. But, I guess that just helps to point out the part of your personality that has helped to endear you to this forum.
