Just got this one in today:
Really big juicy scans here:
Toned 1964 Kennedy obverse.
Toned 1964 Kennedy reverse.
So, what do you experts think? Cold day in hell? Or maybe?

Just my two-cents (U.S.)
Nice looking coin, though

The cheek area has a boatload of horizontal parallel scrape marks. This poor ol' JFK has been banged around a lot.

Although it is a pretty piece and well struck, my gut feeling is AT. The area around the neck concerns me, and looks artificial. That being said, I have a PCGS slabbed Morgan with similar colors.
I bought it here.
He bought it as part of a wad here.
It arrived in the same 2x2 as in the original auction where he bought it. So, in the least, I know the guy I bought it from isn't the Doctor.

....russ if you look at the top ,and back of the head, notice it is white, that is one of the high points on the coin, if the rest is toned ,one would think it also should have some color on it. if the toning was from an album the back would also have more color as the front does, if it was kept in an old paper enevlope laying face down the top of the head would also be toned.. with all that said, i beleive the toning to be, at.
I say AT.

It looks like a classic example of AT using that sulphur of liver stuff (?) based upon the color scheme. I don't recall the exact name of it, but it came up in one of the AT threads.

I know a little bit about Kennedy's, but zero about toning. That's why I always ask you guys.
I figured it was probably AT, but for $10, what the hey!
