Hi everyone,
I just wanted to take a second to introduce myself. I have been collecting coins for almost 5 years now but lost interest in it for the last 4 1/2 years or so =P

I recently got back into collecting, and am looking forward to getting into slab collecting. My main interest is with half dollars (mainly kennedys) and dollar pieces. Besides those, I keep anything that is not "common" such as pre 64 circulated coins. I am working off of a real tight budget so I do what I can to satisfy my craving for coins.

I look forward to meeting and talking with you all. I am a web designer by trade so I setup a forum CoinForums.com that runs off of vbulletin before I knew about this site. I didn't think there was another coin forum out there, and I am a real forum junkie so i thought why not. Now I wish I would have done some research though, if I had I wouldn't have wasted $150 on the forum software.


Anyway, you are all invited to check out the site if you like, and I really look forward to learning from all of you.

I have a couple of proof kennedy's but unfortunantly they are newer ones. I am still trying to set aside some extra money to get my collection going again. There is a big difference between what I am interested in, and what I can afford

I have actually talked to Russ off board before I registered. I had a few Kennedy Half questions, and who better to ask than Russ? I only knew about this site for 1 week and had already figured out he was crazy about Kennedy's lol. He helped me identify a 64 in some aftermarket package that my father had given me. Thanks again Russ.
