Going away for a while

I am moving to Seattle (actually Issaquah) so I will not be around as much for a while, at least until I get settled up there. I'll miss you all, but will see you again in a few weeks. image

  • We'll be waiting for you up here in Seattle, Jeff. And bring that nice new saint with you. You let me keep it for a while, I might take you out, introduce you to some girls, you know... get you hooked up. Look me up when you get here.

  • You crack me up clank! Actually, this is a fast move, I got the job offer yesterday, found an apartment today, need to get a truck for Friday and start work Monday! I am gonna be really tired!

Baseball, don't worry, once a Cub fan, always a Cub fan! The main difference in the Mariners season usually ends in September as opposed to June.
  • good luck on the move! chris
  • What????? You found a job in Washington? In King County??? We've got the highest unemployment numbers in the country up here!! Congrats! image Issaquah is nice......... as long as you're not a school teacher image Are you a federal mediator? image Don't forget to pack your umbrella......... and keep your eyes open if you're bringing up any '64 Kennedys - you'll be in Russ' backyard!
    ahhhh....... SODO MELVIN?????
  • Well osirisMMII,

WA has the highest unemployment (just beat out Oregon where I am now, and which was #1 for quite a while), but I think it's mostly due to Clark County (the WA suburbs of Portland) where unemployment is over 8%! So if you counted them with Portland, I think we'd still be #1. I am not a teacher, so no worry there, nor am I a federal anything! Living in Portland for 3 years, I am well versed in precipitation preparedness, so I think I'm in good shape! I just can't wait to no longer pay state income tax!
  • They get you in other ways... trust me. You'll pay plenty of taxes up here.

Good luck with the move and with the new job. My brother spent some time in the Sea-Tac area and told me there are just two kinds of weather there.
    1. It's raining.
    2. It's gonna rain.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

It's only a few hundred miles (just an average commute in Los Angeles); you will be back soon.
