Been piecing out some of my collection over the years to fund this next purchase. I had always wanted an old muscle car, but never thought it was a possibility until I had a health scare in 2015. Once I was back home and healthy again, I was sitting in my office when I had an epiphany....would I rather have 50,000 $1 things in a box in a closet, 90% of which I wasn't emotionally attached to, or 1 $50,000 car in my garage that I've wanted for 35+years.
It was an easy decision, so I started piecing it out to maximize value. As money started coming in, I would buy local collections and piece those out to help speed up the process. I have managed to keep the top 15% of my collection in tact which I am very happy with because I wouldn't be able to afford it if I were to buy it at current market values. Plus the love for collecting cards is still in my heart.
Anyways, enough with the back story. I am now the very proud owner of a 1970 Chevelle SS. Canadian built with 2 build sheets and original window sticker plus the cowl tag with the options on it from being a Canadian car. Original black interior with bucket seats and console. TH400. Originally 396/350hp, now has a 454. Cowl Induction. 1 older repaint, so it's driver quality which I wanted so I don't have to worry about taking it out and enjoying it.
I am with you! I sold half my collection for a bass boat and will sell almost the other half for a Hellcat in 3 years!

Some really nice cars have been posted. I posted a picture of mine earlier. Here is a video I did of a walk around of the car with it running. Turn your volume up. https://youtube.com/watch?v=ena8kaFvoCY

Not a muscle car, but still gets down the road...
Hell yes that's a muscle car! V8 and in great shape!
Thanks. 1969. My dad bought that off a guy in 1992 and it was running at the time. Then it set up until about 2012 and we decided to do a full reno. That took 5 years and it was redone top-to-bottom, front-to-back. All original or vintage replacements though we upgraded brakes, distributor and radio. Thing is a beast.
While not exactly a muscle car . Here's my current classic. I have had many cars over the years but this is a real head turner . Love seeing everyone else's rides of all different types.. especially as car show season in jersey is ended

There's just something about an old Corvette where everyone knows what they are, even if you're not a car guy. My grandpa had a '66 Stingray convertible 327 4 speed for 30+ years. Didn't matter if you were a young kid in middle school, or an old timer, everyone looked as it went past.
