  • Russ--
The other day if memory serves, you mentioned buying a casino token. You have taken to buying 2 cent pieces, and the occasional bust half. Now, you have purchased this. From the perfection of PR69DCAM Kennedys to geniune old coins with holes in them. By God, son! You are becoming a collector's collector! I have a feeling in a few short years you will be legendary. I knew this was going to happen to you. I knew it, I knew it, I knew it.

It's kind of fun to watch. Promise you'll keep sharing the new purchases with us. image

Russ- I saw that one too and couldn't help but think, "Here's a coin from the 18th Century for about $10." Not bad. It looks cool!

  • Looks like a "Holey Vest" coin.

When you get it, you'll have to post another picture. From the listing it looks like a flat piece of metal, with no details at all. How did he know it was a 1798. I can barely make out an outline.

Without the hole, it would be a PO-01 at best, assuming you can see the date. If it were sent to ANACS and they net graded it, what would the net grade be?

  • Besides all the great history that coin has, I believe it's also the same size and weight as the video game tokens at Dave & Busters! image
