Russ- I saw that one too and couldn't help but think, "Here's a coin from the 18th Century for about $10." Not bad. It looks cool!

Looks like a "Holey Vest" coin.

When you get it, you'll have to post another picture. From the listing it looks like a flat piece of metal, with no details at all. How did he know it was a 1798. I can barely make out an outline.

Without the hole, it would be a PO-01 at best, assuming you can see the date. If it were sent to ANACS and they net graded it, what would the net grade be?

Besides all the great history that coin has, I believe it's also the same size and weight as the video game tokens at Dave & Busters!
