opinion needed on bust dime

It's a nice F-VF with a couple of rim marks on the edge at 1 and 2 o'clock. Most dealers are going to sell this as a VF. The color is what collectors should demand for coins like this. The pasty white coins are for "indiscriminate buyers."

I tend to agree that it's the quality a dealer would sell as a VF so the seller is in line.
I really need to get a copy of the Davis book on Bust Dimes.
I just know there's some rare varieties getting put on Ebay.

nope, too rich for my blood. If it was a more common 1830's I may have considered it. It begs a further question, the toning on the obv has brown overtone, the reverse is a darker gray bordering on blackish. Does this border on environmental d?
