Final tuneup for Indian Cent showdown

Looks like circ. indian cent sets #2 and #3 have been resubmitted in their entirety and relisted....the race is looking tighter as a result. Did they think this was a PCGS plastic showdown?? Is Stew going to follow suit??

    New additions to the Ally Collection include the 1906 MS67RD [from the David Hall Collection] and the 1861 MS67. These were both in the ANA NY Heritage auction.

    I'm a little uncomfortable with the "Showdown" description and would rather think of it like a wine tasting. Looking forward to letting all that copper swirl around in my pallet.

    Lakesamman -- the missing pricetags will be the one drawback. I'm fairly certain you'll have to be physically restrained from making offers to Stewart at some point in time.

    I think they should rename it copper whist. Back around 1918, Dr. French and Mr. Newcomb used to have contest comparing their collections head to head, variety to variety and scored a point for who had the best looking coin. I guess this "showdown" is the modern version of Old Cent Whist.

    I'll probably be making offers to all 3! It will be like a kid in a candy store with his mother - "don't touch....you can't have any!". Just hope they have it again when my collection is complete and able to compete with the "big boys".

    Looks like it to me - that's the only way I can figure that every coin in the collection has been updated....new PCGS numbers on every one.
