Ike Observation

I was looking at a 1974 Ike Dollar, when something struck me as strange. On the reverse, there is an eagle that appears to be either taking off or landing on the moon! I believe this to be the moon, because the "planet" in the background appears to show the continent of North America. If there is no atmosphere on the moon, then wouldn't it be impossible for a bird to fly? I'm not talking about breathing here, just the fact that the wings wouldn't have any air to "push" against when it came to flight. Perhaps this is some kind of special eagle? Or perhaps we never went to the moon at all!!!

Fell to the ground with a boom
He cried "there's no air!
Like Ike has no hair!"
And couldn't get back here too soon.
Not if it was sitting peacefully on the launch pad in Cape Canaveral!
Clankeye, you crack me up! I knew you wanted to TTT the limerick thread.
of the Ike came straight from the emblem for the Apollo 11 mission. This emblem
was on their uniforms and space suits. A smooth landing would not be an eagle's
primary problem with a moon landing and this is probably not further proof of a
conspiracy.
Please be careful

Thus, the design represents an alternate universe where the Earth is an airless wasteland, the moon is teeming with life, and Morgan dollars are underappreciated.
<< <i>I think the phenomenon of the eagle's ability to fly on the moon exists in the same warped alternative universe where spaceships make noise in a vacuum, and silencers work on revolvers.

I know this universe, because I have a POP 1 ACG registry set in that Universe worth Millions$$$$$
