That is a great result, Spooly--especially these days! (I just got creamed on on '30's and '40's proofs I sent in). You oughta feel great! Take credit for a good eye. Congrats!

    Spooly,

If you picked those coins raw, you did a great job! Tell us you bought them at MS65 prices, and we'll all be envious. Congratulations!

Wow nice set. I am curious was that 1935 a crack-out or a crossover from a NGC slab? If I didn't have so many other interests, I had planned on collecting that set too.

This is the Pedigree invoice. Some of these coins I bought raw, some I cracked out of NGC/PCGS holders for upgrades. At one time I have almost 3 complete sets. I sold off all but the best, what you see is what was left. It's a matching white set. Texas Comm in my opinion don't tone very well.

I just like the coins and the set! It's not a "great" set like Registrycoins (top pops) ..... But it is "My" set! image

I have to laugh at it sometimes! I have the number 2 All Time Finest Texas Comm Set! Sounds good...... until you find out that I am number 2 out 2 sets!!! image

In my opinion, these tone beautifully. The problem is that jealous Yankees with bland designs dip our lovely commems out of frustration. image

    Spooly:

    Looks great, congratulations.

But to think, for even a little less money you could have had a set of proof Sacs in 69DCAM. What are you thinking?image
