finally got a copy of the highly touted "Adventures with Rare Coins" by Bowers yesterday and started it last night. seems like it's going to be a fun and very quick read, (even though it's over 300 pages). also picked up a copy of his Encyclopedia of commemeratives, which clocks in well over 700 pages. was kind of rummaging through the store looking for nothing in particular when i happened upon "Adventures" which was conveniently sitting right next to the other one. the guy in the store even gave me a 33% discount of the prices they had marked. we both knew how long they'd been sitting around and i would have gladly paid what they were asking but with that little gesture he's earned himself a very loyal customer! it's funny how much a little thing like that means.
just though i'd put a cheery little story up (for a change).

Those "little" stories are big in my book. I am so impressed when people go out of their way in small transactions. Those are the ones that win me as a customer.
You're going to enjoy those books. And that you can look back and even have enjoyed the exchange getting them... makes it just a little better.
