For you guys that don't know how to "Link"

OK it's simple. You know how to copy and paste, right? When you either "reply" or "start a new topic" you'll see a tool bar above the window you type in. starting at left, first a B then I then U then a little TV screen ( atleast it looks like one) then "http". When you get to the point in your "reply" or "new topic" you want your link click that "http". You'll already have your address copied and now you paste it in the little window that just popped up. Click OK. Now type in the new window whatever you want the letters in blue to say, ya know the letters people will actually click on, click OK again. Thats it.

Even though I am fairly comfortable with linking and such, I thought I'd look this over. It make me wonder if there are different templates for screens that everyone sees. I have no "http" instead there is a world with a "chain link" on it, this serves the same function. I also have no TV screen, instead there are several icons that can be used to add bullets and numbers to the text. Seems like good enough reason for confusion.

I have IE 6.0.2600.0000c0. This is very interesting, I tried looking at it from a Sun workstation and it looks very much different with NetScape. The entire layout of the screen is different.

    Test

Thank you very much. The test was a complete success.
(I did note that I had to make sure I did not copy the "http://" again to make it work).

You described it perfectly. I hate to admit it, but I never knew how to do that. Thank you. I feel like Scrooge on Christmas morning! I'm as giddy as a school boy! Hooray! One toe further into the future!
