CarolJ - You got dark chocolate at the bottom of your purse. Bears are very fond of dark chocolate. MMMMmmmmmmmmmmm. Bear
To be serious for as moment, I think this is a great idea If people get the right type of questions in to DonH, it will prove enlightening to all. Even to little bears.
I think it is a fabulous idea to actually exchange ideas with a grader. As a long term collector of middle to high end slabs, with an emphasis on PCGS and NGC "better stuff," I'd love to find out the criteria and rationale that goes into the subjective art of grading.
I think most of us would love to know more about the process from the "inside out," and would welcome an intelligent dialogue. Sometimes, we tend to overgrade some of our own coins, based on our "wishing the grade to be true." Those of you who've taken hammers, saws, and pliers to slabs can attest to that which I've said.
Once again, an excellent idea, and one that I shall welcome participating in.
I think that this is a great idea for the members. I just can't understand why PCGS would stick their collective azzes on the line for something like this. This could backfire and become a mess for PCGS.

Oh by the way, do we all get free PCGS samples for being so nice?
