  • Just got back from Auction picked up an awesome 1881-cc GSA holder incredible rainbow about half obv and 15% rev. I was going up to 1K but got it for $550, coin is atleast a MS65 I think MS66. Stuff was going cheap. If I knew this today I would have been looking at auction lots instead of trolling the floor.

i'll be there early tomorrow (sat) morn, plan to stay a couple of hours. didn't participate in the auciton because i didn't have time to look at lots, but sounds like i missed out on some good deals.

  • I only looked at the GSA. You should have seen the guy running the auction shake his head when a 1869 Proof 50c went for $125. I have no idea what it looked like but it doesn't have to be much to be worth $125.
  • Must have been in one of them ACG slabs! image

I went to the show thinking I would not come home with anything, I was way wrong! I went with a pocket full of cash and 6 blank checks and left with no checks and no cash, but some really nice dollars including a really nice monster textile toned 1882-S MS66. I was pleasantly surprised and was glad I ended up going.
