Did I miss a great deal?

I was the higher bidder on this coin Link when the auction ended.

A few hours later I got a e-mail from the seller saying he would sell it to me for only $1,650.

If it's perfect, why is it a 67?

You missed a fantastic deal. Beautiful coin, "perfect" or not.

I have a 1910 Liberty nickel with toning that is very similar to that, with a little more blue that PCGS body bagged for AT.

The color on the coin is sort of neat. But the carbon spots on both sides and the deeper black streaks sort of
negate the nice color. Hence, this doesn't appear to be a solid 67 coin never mind "perfect." Obviously the seller wants the coin to stick and not get returned, hence the lower price.
