A $400 drop in price!!! I think we should ALL bid now!
Does this mean that if we all get together and harrang a seller they too will come down by 80%
Regards,
Frank

"DO NOT E-MAIL TO ME AGAIN UNLESS INTERESTED TO BUY !! MY GRANDFATHER WAS NOT A FOOL !!!
WE KNOW WHAT ITS WORTH !! "
This is the question I asked
"Where did you come up with the pricing on that coin??? Did you misplace the decimal point by three places? It's a couple of $$ coin, and your wasting your listing fee. Why do you think it has a $2400 value?? Just courious???"
Endo
Seriously though, I just emailed her/him myself asking about the high price.
Looking for PCGS AU58 Washington's, 32-63.

I got the same eMail from the seller. We are witnessing the very definition of clueless.

Does this mean the seller is not interested in any of your 71 rolls? You should make them a deal to consign them.
Apparently, she didn't want any of them. Her exact words were:
<< <i>I DO NOT CARE IF YOU HAVE A THAOUSAND (sic) ROLLS, I KNOW WHAT THIS IS WORTH ! >>
Russ, NCNE
I emailed her and told her she could get a better price if it was certified.
If she follows my advice we'll see it back soon as a ACG MS70.

At least they said please...
This was my original message:
Hello, I stumbled on this auction and thought I'd drop you a little note on this item as I am a coin collector. The coin you have grades around MS-63 which makes it worth about $3. If you're interested in learning more about coins, there are many sources to look at. For pricing, http://www.numismedia.com is a good place for fair market value prices. Also, there are books like the Guide to US Coins (red book) and Coin Collector's Survival Guide that can help you determine value and condition. These are available at every major bookstore in the hobby section.

<< <i>I see you lowered the price on this. Only another $97.50 to go, and you're down to it's real value. You really need to find a coin person and have a talk with them. You're looking a little silly with this...Russ >>

Just thought you guys would want to know.

The Coin you have is worth exactly $3.20 if you get a bidder, which you will not even if you list it at a penny.
Your best bet would be to go to the bank, get a roll of Pennies and see if you have any 1955 Double Die Wheat Pennies. I had no need for mine so I rolled them up and brought them to the bank, you might be able to get $2000 for them
I know some people do not like having 50 pennies, so what you could probably do is get two state quarters. If you find a state quarter in MS67 condition, you could get it graded by any grading company. You could get anywhere from $30 to $300 for it.
I do have some David Hasselhoff dolls if your interested.
Love,
Fredderick

Sorry guys, I'm just having some fun with this.
This eBay user's name is hott_babe, but take a look at their ME page in eBay where their name is given as Jakob. Like Jakob/hott_babe says on their me page:
" My name is Jakob and if you haven't guessed I'm from Cleveland Ohio. I am glad to see that you are interrested in one of my items up for bid. I am kind of new at this. However rest a shure, I've had enough experience to make a fast, smooth and safe trade."
So I guess y'all CAN just "rest a shure" (sic) that they will make the deal fast, smooth and safe.
BTW, I saw their opening price on that coin down to $24.99 last night.
Russ, NCNE
I'm calling it a night but, I sure had fun!

"WILL REPLY ONLY TO THE PERSON PLACING A BID, DO NOT HAVE TIME TO PLAY FOOLISH GAMES WITH PEOPLE THAT JUST E-MAIL FOR FUN ! THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING ."
See what you troublemakers have gone and done now!
Russ, NCNE
BTW, check out the feedbacks lenguardian has left for hott_babe:
"WAAAAY GREAT! HONEST SELLER! EVERYTHING WAS SUPER DUPER NEATO FABLULOUS!!!"
"YEAH!!!! WHOOOO!!!!! SELLER IS AWESOME! EVERYTHING WAS GREAT! !! WORD OUT!"
"EXCELLENT!!! SELLER IS TERRIFIC! TRUST THIS SELLER! BID! BID! BID! WHOOOO-HOO!!!"
Doesn't it just warm your heart to see a buyer and seller who've developed such a wonderful appreciation for each other?
Apparently the reserve was $105, and the bidder proxied above that, thus moving it to the reserve price.

See ya on the other side, Dudes.
It will only automatically raise to the reserve if the proxy amount meets or exceeds the reserve price. If you placed a proxy bid, and it didn't happen, it means your proxy max was less then the reserve price. It's nothing new, it's been that way for quite some time.
Russ, NCNE
Look at what she ( he ) got bid for this !! Makes us look kind of dumb for not putting one of these " rare " ones up for $ 50 !!
