Hmmm...Looks like a scan made from a photo of a coin. And a counterfeit one at that! Did the seller rip out a page from a book showing counterfeit dollars and scan it?
Looks to me like the high bidder is bidding only to sabotage the seller. He left negative feedback from a prior purchase not delivered upon and seems scorned. That is what I would do. The seller would have my high bids with no payment as long as I saw his stuff.
<< <i>Welcome to the forums, Chrysta Hope you have fun here and enjoy! What do you collect? >>
Thanks! I collect a lot of everything! Lincoln cents by date/mm, Mercs by date/mm, U.S. type coins, Modern Commems, modern world coins, and anything else that I see and like.
My website Hasn't been updated in a while, but here is some of what I have. Please excuse the pop-ups...we are on a budget here, and the site is free!
also impressive is the new rarity classification "Utura rare." (not to be confused with "Uhura rare," which of course are coins that were once in the possession of actors who had roles on the Star Trek series.)
i believe Dorkkarl was suggesting a whole new lexicon in the "what do you call rare" thread that would remove the ambiguity from numismatic parlance. if you're out there D., what do you think about this.
hey, you're not this seller are you? trying to foist your "new" words on us through high falutin auctions such as this?
I too was wondering my this bidder would bid again so quickly after leaving the seller negative feedback. Then, I figured out that actually, the negative left by this bidder was in this auction. Look at the item numbers.

The negative that buyersdelite left is for this particular auction. Notice that the item numbers are the same.
We have short memory's don't we? Buyersdelight turns around and sells this stuff on ebay to turn a quick profit, although I wonder how. A month or so ago the buyer became a topic of discussion here on the forum because he had, how shall i say, over emphasized the grade of the coin he was selling. A number of us here made comments and immediately received email nasty-grams calling us very bad names....remember? Anyway, the buyer is a voyeur/member here on the forum that doesn't cotton to anyone messing with his small scam niche.
I guess as long as the scammers are feeding off each other we should be safe for the time being. hmmm, maybe this is the REAL darkside!
That sellers response to one of the negatives was funny.
Response by magical_xanadu - I was away for the entire time of the auction, and i don't have a home phone.
Just the kind of guy I want to deal with on ebay. Leaves when his auctions are running and never contacts the buyers!

Always buying music cards of artists I like! PSA or raw! Esp want PSA 10s 1991 Musicards Marx, Elton, Bryan Adams, etc. And 92/93 Country Gold AJ, Clint Black, Tim McGraw PSA 10s
this whole thing has got to be a joke aimed at ebay. the selling premium will be a couple of hundred bucks and i will bet a bunch that it never gets paid. the only two positives are by the same guy, probably a shill identity.
the pos identity has to be a shill. his second pos states "test auction do not bid" yet the shill bid and received pos feedback. This is very funny because this guys clearly an idiot.
Look at the scan of an EF Seated Liberty Dollar that was in the other auction that he gat negged on. The most amazing EF I have ever seen. What do you think it really is?

Interesting that the seller has 3 feedback, 2 are negatives, and the high bidder on this auction is one of those negatives.
