Hi, im the newest of the forum members... Lets see i have been collecting for a very short period of time around 2 months or so. I mostly collect early us coins, like seated liberty and capped bust coinage. I have been hanging around the forum for about a month. I am only a kid so i dont have a huge ammount of money to spend, but i make do.

    Welcome. Young Numismatists are always welcome here on the board. Read as much as you can and have fun. Your series of collecting is fun and challenging. It may take years, but the fun is in looking for the coins.

    Welcome KlectorKid! Enjoy your time here, and good luck with the seated series. As far as taking years, well, I started my circulated Lincoln set when I was 12 (during Reagan's first term) and I still need 4 more!

    Welcome, I have a 15 year old here. If Russ isn't careful he's going to overtake him in the Kennedy registry!!! BTW Got any Proof Lincolns...image LOL

    welcome klectorkid. i started to collect when i was 13yo so its about that age when most get into it. I didnt have alot of money when i started and to tell you the truth i still dontimage dont give up you might find that million dollar coin . gods knows im always looking for it

    Welcome to the group, nice to have you. Learn as much as you can from the people here and get some books on your favorite series before you venture out to far. It's an investment that will pay dividends many times over.

    And the general rule of thumb is that no matter how good a deal it may seem, if you buy any certified coins avoid grading services like Accugrade and Numistrust. Stick with the big three PCGS/NGC/ANACS when buying from people you don't know.
