Coin Fun

Most of you may remember my post about taking a vacation and seeing a coin shop here or there. Well, I am back, and I had alot of fun.
Besides the beach and Hearst castle, I stoped in at California Coin and Stamp recomended by forum members. The selection was good and the owner very friendly. Two other collectors were already in the shop right after it's opening at 10:00 and were talking about coins. Staying focused and not wanting to spend all day there, I joined in the conversation and looked at coins at the same time.
Type coins was what I was after, and I was able to pick up an XF large cent for $16.00 (uncertified) and an arrows and rays half dollar V.G. The detail on both coins were great and choice for the grade. Overall, the shop was clean, friendly (had stools to sit on) and had a good selection of lower grade type coins. I would recomend them to anybody.
