Just bought my first camera to take coin pics. Does anyone have any suggestions about lighting and backgrounds for optimal results. Thanks, Mike

Are you going digital and with film? It makes a big difference. I've been taking 35mm slides for over 10 years and have done a lot of contract work. I take digital pictures for my newsletter and Internet sales.

First class advice from Russ........ makes a huge difference!

LOL........I just wish it was not so hard to get them here in Norway... (not hard...impossble...have to import them)

You will get true images, correct colour and I believe you will be pleased.

GE Reveal are dyno-mite.

OTT lamps are also very nice. (flourescent - daylight spectrum)
They can be had at Office Depot for about $16. Comes with a handy clamp
and a positionable neck.

edit: Here's one done with OTT lamps, and Ricoh RDC-4300
