No, I have 1 that has light uniform gold toning. I also have a 1956 that has an almost pink even toning. Usually the Franklins develop ugly spotty mint state toning. High grade untoned coins before 1959 are much tougher than toned coins.
Uniform toning on Franklins is generally uncommon, but not unheard of. Your best bet for buying toned Franklins is to buy them slabbed. Most of the major grading services won't grade artificially toned pieces. If you want to see a couple of gold toned pieces, look at the 50-D and 51-P in my collection below. They're pretty uniform.
Also, scan through ebay and look at the pictures that people put up for different Franklins. That's also an excellent source.
