What is ironic is the guy never posted anything I felt constructive and/or valid (along with the NJ Guy) and have long had comments hidden.
I almost want the guy unbanned only to stop seeing comments relating to him.
Even when I disagree with @jmlanzaf, I find most of his posts to be valid. And they’re often informative on a very wide range of topics.

I’ll give him props on his contributions especially in chemistry/metallurgy. He was also one of the few posters willing to engage in a thoughtful legal discussion related to coins that I tried to have in a thread.
Also, even when I have vehemently disagreed with posters in extended debates, I would never wish any of them (acting civilly) to be banned. Diversity of thought is important to avoid group think and contemplate other perspectives. This place sure would be boring if we all thought a like.

If you truly feel that way then as you know there is plenty to read.
Obviously we do not agree and no need to waste my time on his needless invalid comments.
Some people post only because they feel the need to be recognized. As sad as it is it is a common issue across all social platforms. Obviously the guy knows his comments are currently not visible, yet continues to comment. For some this is their only social engagement and that urge to be recognized displaces any desire to be accurate or relevant.

What a sad thread. This place used to be educational and informative.
One thread does not a forum make.
Your words are the exact words I was going to post yesterday. There are plenty of unhappy posts seen in this forum but remind readers/posters that being happy, or not being happy, is a choice. Don't ever let another individual, or group of individuals define your happiness. Choose the educational and informative threads and posts here, of which there are plenty, and reject or ignore, the unhappy.

This is a pretty accurate take. The number of last word back and forths in threads about US Mint products and other topics is something this forum doesn't really need and is not constructive other than to feed the egos of the participants. Back and forth a few times is fine but when you have literally pages and dozens of posts essentially saying the same thing over and over again that becomes tiresome and repetitive.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
You know what's tiresome and repetitive? Complaining about what other people write. If you're not interested in what someone has to say, skip over their comments. The fact you don't want to read them doesn't mean nobody does.
