Superb collections are built more by omission than by addition.

Curiously why are these being sold by the U.S. Mint rather than the Bureau of Engraving and Printing?

There is also a four and an eight note sheet available, the four note being a possibility.

They have had the the 2021 San Fran's listed for quite some time along with pretty much all denominations from varying reserves.

Because they took over retail sales from BEP years ago. If you search, you'll see all their products, not just this.

Because the Mint has a robust retail website that gets lots of traffic. BEP never did.

Novelty unless the serial numbers reflect first releases sort of thing and is a limited product. But since it is a circulating bill now in the wild, the uncut sheets might remain for years.

Paper money are supposed to have the signature of treasurer of the United States and secretary of the treasury. Why did trump’s signature appear on it.

This is the second time the 4 note sheet came up, the first time it was only 25. I am guessing this second time it was 500, and the inventory is down to 91 from 130 since last night.

Wow a 25% mark up over face. That’s crazy. Now if we could sell 80 billion sets (of 4 $100 notes) the Treasury would be good to go. 😏

Interesting comparison. Seems close to the markup on gold coins, without the expense of precious metals. A good profit maker for sure.

The BEP is not getting rich selling uncut sheets of currency.

Currency production is highly automated and these sheets and partial sheets require manual handling and special serial number runs.

Currency collectors were overjoyed when the BEP started offering uncut or partial sheets some years ago.

In any case, the markup seems to be much smaller than most of the mint's products.

Only 60 left of 4 bill uncut sheet, but my guess is they make more eventually.

Each sheet has the last four digits of the serial number the same on each note.

    I wish I could order a specific four-digit number.

Such as my birth year, of course!
