Representatives from the United States Mint (Mint), America’s VetDogs, and the Guide Dog Foundation joined together today to unveil the designs for the 2027 Working Dogs Commemorative Coin Program during a ceremony at the White House in Washington, DC. The designs— emblematic of the vast contributions that working dogs make in society to include the range of services that these dogs provide in detection, military service, therapy, and assistance—will be featured on a $5 gold coin, a $1 silver coin, and a half dollar clad coin, as authorized by Public Law 118-109, to support the mission of America’s VetDogs.

Those renderings look great w/o all the designer/engraver initials the Mint will put on the final product.

I’m sure the Mint will find some way to ruin them.
Cool as long as nobody messes with everything on it
These need a doggy bone privy.
Superb collections are built more by omission than by addition.
Beautiful designs and excellent theme...... Put it on a USPS stamp!!!
Love this so much! The only way to improve it (and excuse me for my blasphemy) is to change the motto to read "In Dog We Trust". Just this once. heehee

My hobby website Groovycoins.com, new and improved!
I say this every time my dogs sneeze ... "dog bless you".
In memory of two of our working dogs - Mandy & Carly
Also in memory of Carly's litter mate - Bandit

The problem will be the issue price, which will make the set unaffordable. If that doesn’t work, the mint will limit the mintage to 2,037 sets for the year of issue and auction them to the highest bidder. The mint has become collector hostile.
But . . . but . . . where's the all-important privy mark?
Now listen boy, I'm tryin' to teach you sumthin' . . . . that ain't an optical illusion, it only looks like an optical illusion.
