Opinions on selling

Good evening everyone, I'm getting to the point in my collecting career to start contemplating selling. I have amassed many completely graded sets. What are your thoughts/opinions/experiences on selling full sets versus breaking them up? Also, what are some of your thoughts on a selling platform? I've sold many times on eBay but I know the fees are brutal. I've never used any auction houses and don't really know how to get started there either. The way card prices have skyrocketed I feel like now might be the time. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Respectfully.
