Had to chuckle at this US Mint social media advertisement

“Collectors know this will go fast. Don’t wait.”
Meanwhile the ad shows a coin they haven’t been able to sell in 2+ years.
Better hurry 🙂

Superb collections are built more by omission than by addition.

The US Mint is out of touch with how to both advertise and run a business in the social media age.

Over stamp them with a privy mark, label them as special issues, and the coins will sell like hot cakes to flippers.

How hard would it really be to overstrike the 2026 issues and sell them as over strikes? The first Continental Congress was held in 1774. Maybe they could overstrike the 2026 coins and dub them double semiquincentennial issues.

I get those ads on social media as well, and I know better than to know the product they're asking me to purchase is in stock.
