Week 7 in the books, according to MY math Bgr has pushed back into first place after posting a 10 win week, Galaxy and Blue kept pace with 10 a piece as well
Not much to add outside of some surprising results like Carolina not showing up at home against the Bucs and SF getting beat by Atlanta
The Chiefs getting smoked in Seattle was another game nobody thought would play out that way
Please check your scores and let me know if any changes need to be made
Perk I only got 5 correct so I believe I should only have 59 not 60.
In other development’s I’ve fired myself from making my picks and will be going to the local zoo weekly to try to bribe one of the chimpanzee’s into making my picks.
Apologies, everyone - I dropped the ball and skipped the Monday check-in two weeks running. @perkdog kept the official book the whole time, so this is just the catch-up, Weeks 6 and 7 together.
Season (perk's book with my Week 7 count):
bgr 67
Canes8387899101 66
perkdog 65
Saint Ezzard 63
ElMagoStrikeZone 63
Darin 59
galaxy27 59
BLUEJAYWAY 56
stevek 42
Perk, Darin is right, he went 5-9, so 59. I also get 9 for galaxy and BJ, not 10. Both missed New England, Tennessee, Carolina and Houston, plus New Orleans for galaxy and San Francisco for BJ. That would put them at 59 and 56. Worth a second look before you lock it in.
Week 6 took down the whole room twice. Nobody had Tennessee (26-20 at Indy) and nobody had Arizona (18-16 over the Rams).
@BLUEJAYWAY went 10, the best week of the two. He was alone on Cleveland (13-10 over Baltimore), one of two on Denver Thursday night, and one of three on Carolina in Philly. The week before, his plan was to pick teams with no chance and be amazed when they win. It worked.
Perk went 9 with Houston, Carolina and New Orleans. I had New Orleans too, and Saint had Denver, which is how we both got to 8.
Week 7 did it again. Nobody had Tampa (43-13 in Carolina) and nobody had the Giants (27-21 in overtime at Houston). All eight of us had Dallas on Monday night, and they won 38-21, so at least we agree on something.
@galaxy27 said he wouldn't pick Atlanta even if the other team was lining up a game-winning field goal and just let the clock run out. The next week he picked Atlanta, and they beat San Francisco 29-20. He and @ElMagoStrikeZone were the only two on the Falcons. Galaxy and BJ were also the only two on Miami, 28-25 over the Jets.
BJ took "Tennessee yes, that Tennessee" and "LA Rams yes, those Rams." The Rams won 35-21. Tennessee lost to Cleveland by three.
Steve is still retired, so he holds at 42.
I went 10 and got back to first by a game, which in this season means nothing past Thursday.
@Darin, good luck at the zoo. Make sure the chimp's record is better than 5-9 before you pay him.

This contest is perfect proof that just when you think you know everything, you discover that you don't know crap.
A gembryo is the early developmental stage of a perfect card.
