Cert# Requests

alaura22alaura22 Posts: 3,909 ✭✭✭✭✭

About 2 weeks ago, maybe longer, I submtted requests for cert numbers to be added to a bunch of sets that didn't have them
I know some of them were 25 proof quarters in many different proof sets
There is no place to look on the website to see what I've asked for, no record that I can find
Need some help to get these added, I'm hoping that PCGS has a record of what I submitted
@PCGS_Hy
@Charles_Morgan
@pcgs_education
Thanks

    From the Registry's main landing/home page, click the three horizontal lines at the top left of the screen - then select "Activity" - there should be a My Slot Requests panel on that page (mine's on the far right of the screen, others may vary - I can't remember if that's a customizable page or not) -- https://pcgs.com/SetRegistry/mysetregistry/activity/slotrequests --That should take you directly to the full list of your requests...

    For whatever it's worth, I've still got Pendings going back as far as June 1st. I'm sure the staff is putting all of their efforts into whatever this year's awards end up becomeing, hopefully after that's done, these will get more attention.

    It's not a slot request, it's a cert to be added request
    But thanks :)

    Hello all,

    Thank you for reaching out. I will be transparent here. I am fairly behind on slot requests. If it is a slot request, I will get through them as soon as I can. I am so sorry for the wait.

    Removal requests and spec requests are fairly up to date though. They are all being done within 3-5 business days provided it is being done through your Set Registry portal.

    I am not sure of what type of request you are looking for though @alaura22, do you mind clarifying?

    Thank you.

    Just for the heck of it, last night I went back and aaded 1 coin from a set that I had already requested. It took the request and today I got a email saying it was added to the set
    These 2025 proofs fit in many different proof sets, I hope I don't have to go through each proof set to add these coins

    I am not sure of what type of request you are looking for though @alaura22, do you mind clarifying?

    The request I'm looking for is to add cert numbers that are not already in the set, Some of the new holders are not in the database for each coin so I have to request that it be added.
    **Do you have a record of all my requests?

    Let me know if you have any questions

    It sounds like you are trying to add coins to your set. We do not handle these requests. We only assist if there is something preventing you from adding the coin to your set normally, in which case, most of the time it is solved by a slot or spec request, then from there, you would need to attempt to add it to the set again.

    Each set should have an option to "Add Best Available". That might help to expedite updating coins in multiple sets.

    I will reach out to you by DM for further follow up.

    That absolutely sounds like a slot request to me? Were you using the "Report a Cert That Should Match This Composite" links? There seems to be a terminology disconnect somewhere in the story, I suspect that's adding unnecessary confusion. When the "Report a cert" function is used, it shows up on the slot-request page - or at least it's supposed to.
