Given that I've bought several slabbed coins and never sold one, and I've never cracked out a coin either, I'd have to answer "yes" to this question. My first slab was a PCGS sample slab, so it doesn't really count for the question since it isn't really "certified". I believe my first actual TPG-graded coin was a 1927 Vermont commemorative half-dollar.
