Emerging Liberty Dimes - Where can I find them?

EastonCollectionEastonCollection Posts: 1,664 ✭✭✭✭✭

This is a very simple post and an easy read
I would like to start using the Emerging Liberty Dimes to spend and give away to future coin collectors.
Where can I find them at face or very close to face. I can't seem to find them at close to face. Banks don't have them and dealers have graded ones at $100 apiece. They are common and meant to be spent.
Any assistance is appreciated.

You have to catch them just as they emerge. ;)

Maybe @mach19 has some left. He posted many giveaways.
The cheapest on eBay are 4X face by the roll.

None of the banks near me have them, and the tellers are completely in the dark about any 'new dimes'. And I have not seen a single one in circulation as of yet.

Havent heard of anyone getting any yet either

Only place I’ve found them at face value is in the “change machine” they have at the mint gift shop in DC.

I just received this email from the mint.

They are still selling rolls and bags of Semi Quincentennial coins at premium prices. This is tiresome.

I have not seen any 2026 circulating coins in my tills of Brinks change drop offs. Just dumb looks at the credit union when I ask for them. I would imagine that a coin show that the Mint is showing up at would have those change machines. I saw some at a local coin show for 10x face for individual coins. They will make their rounds out into circulation, hopefully soon.

    Same here:

No one has heard of them, seen them and/or can get them. The answer I always get is the new coins are circulating with the old ones. Most or all tellers look at me like I'm from Pluto. "I didn't know that" is always the response.
Amazing that these people deal in money for a living and most are completely in the dark about any of it.

    Later, Paul.

We are not far away from July 4th and its crazy that I can't get them for close to face value. At the Central States show, Paul Hollis - Director of the Mint held a talk and he said that the mint is making them so it won't be too tough to find them in change. Oh well, other the 2 examples that Jeff Garrett gave me, I got none......

I wouldn't blame tellers for not knowing about them and banks for not having them. They're not coin dealers, after all.
