Water freezes at 273 Kelvins. I'm sure they thank you for the compliment.

That is remarkable, I have never found anything unbelievable on EBay, no matter how absurd it may seem. ;)

edit: I do find it unbelievable that the mint with their new profit hungry mode is not issuing rolls and bags of dimes though.

Look at sold prices on eBay. Experienced sellers know what they’re doing with a box or roll of new dimes. Right now rolls have sold at up to fifty dollars. They’re flipping the boxes at triple. Mach mocks what he does not understand.

The point of the mockery here are the trite and repetitve threads that Mach starts.

Oh, I don't know. Give the guy a break. He does have a tendency to start repetitive threads. He did once say that he wanted more stars. But the threads are easy enough to ignore and mostly harmless.

It certainly seems to be different from the Bicentennial. Back then getting the coins with the special commemorative reverses was no problem at all. The quarters were actively in circulation and the half dollars and Ike Dollars, which didn’t circulate well, were available at banks. Now, it seems, you have to pay premiums for all of them.

Of course the mints started issuing the Bicentennial coins a year earlier, which helped.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
