Why is there a bean in the photo?
I was just looking at that coin a few minutes ago. I'm not the best grader in the world (or the 1000th best) but the description says:
"This is a near miss CAC. We think a little distraction by the eagles beak on the reverse is why he did not bean it"
I'm not looking at the coin in hand but I would think a weak strike and marks on Liberty's breast are more distracting (for a 66) to me:
Still looks like a nice coin with great luster and priced right.

That coin is $7,500 to $7,800 with CAC. I like the value for a 66+ as shown at $800 over spot!
It's a preset background that Legend uses since most of their stuff is CAC. They just didn't bother removing the bean.
I'm surprised it didn't CAC. They love dirty gold.
CAC is tough on Saints, that said its all about the premium over spot for the common coins and chasing a sticker and paying more for a 64 CAC than a 66+ seems short sighted

Your comment has merit, and I agree with the point you are making; However, common date Saints 64 CAC can be found for under $5,800 with a little bit of homework, which means not EBAY. Several dealers are under $5,800 on their websites. Shows are also a good venue to find them as well.
One thing to note, as most of us know that CAC stickering does not recognize plus grades:
If CAC felt this coin was not solid as just a 66, they sure as heck would feel it’s far from solid as a 66+ if asked off the record!

For me to pay MS-66 money, the coin needs to almost walk on water. The mark near the Eagle’s beak would take it out for me because I would always find it distracting. If a mark bugs me, I usually pass unless is a very tough coin in a circulated grade. I have an MS-65, CAC Saint I like better.
The photo got a bean. The coin did not!
