Hello all
As I have no idea about grade or price US coinage, I am asking the forum for help.
I just received these US coins as part of a Canada Collection I purchased
Fleebay is not an ideal place and I use it as a very liberal guide.
And yes I would like to sell all of these, preferably in one lot.
BUT there is a border between Canada and the USA. And I ship from Canada.
I have no idea what the Trump imposed border deal is at this time for coins. taxes tariffs fees etc. ??
There are also some other US coins in that collection with grades anywhere from G6 to maybe VF.
Old and some well used coins. But who knows?
I have no idea how to evaluate US coins and make a smart decision on price.
There are the 3 title coins with the images attached plus these below:
**2 half dimes 1851, 1853,
1 dime 1906,
5 cent dated 1832,
1 Cent dated 1840 and one 1850
1 2-cent piece dated 1864.
1 half Dollar 1906 BV
1 half Dollar 1907 BV
1 half Dollar 1908 BV
1 Half dollar 1899 BV*

I can post images of the other coins if needed.
Thank you all for your input. I appreciate it a lot.

The three coins shown all have major problems and are details coins. From this and other posts, it seems fair to say that you are not too savvy with coins in general (never mind US coins). Your best option is probably to sell them to a local dealer rather than try to market them yourself.
Glad you appreciate the input.
Posts like this should probably be on the Buy Sell Trade US Coins Forum

It might just be your images, but the 1899 quarter appears counterfeit.

TomB, I have no idea and can not make comment if it is or not.
It is my first 1899 25 cent (US) I ever held in my hands.
All I know is how and where I got it. The whole (big) box of coins and other things came to me from an estate on Vancouver Island. Actually a very, very old farm house. The last owner passed away at age 97. The wooden box was located in the crawl space, where the field-farm mice live. The last indication of age are a few post cards from wartimes , the 30ties and 40ties, partly eaten by the critters. So, I highly doubt there were fakes of any kind in these boxes. There were some war memory-items. The Family took everything else.
However, one can never be sure how it got there. I would think that if so, it would be a one time chance to find such a fake where and how it was found. It is not an expensive item.
Have you come across similar forgeries in your experience?
If it is a forgery, is a damn good one.
Tom, what makes you think it is a fake? You have me curious now and I will not sell it until I know for sure.

Please understand I cannot prove the piece is counterfeit. I placed the comment like that because my first reaction upon seeing the image was that something felt off, and I realize it could be due to lighting, so it could absolutely be a real coin that just has odd shadows or whatever.
I've added three circles to the obverse image, shown below, two of the circles are around large bits of what appear to be metal. I have never seen internal breaks like this on a Barber coin where metal is stuck to the surface, and there appear to be little blobs of metal near the larger of the two that I have circled. I guess this could just be crud stuck to a genuine coin, but the image infers to me that it is part of the fabric of the piece. Also, the central area including the ear, which I have placed an oval around, doesn't feel right to my eyes. Again, it might be lighting in combination with surface dirt and glare, but when added to the blobs mentioned earlier it makes me leery. In that central area the cartilage in the ear and the hair behind the ear, as well as the curl in front of the ear, all feel again slightly off.
I can't prove any of it and perhaps it is completely legitimate. I have been wrong on these boards in the past and I am certain to be wrong in the future, if I am fortunate enough to post in the future.
As an aside, after I commented on the piece last night, I was later on the BST board and read your thread about these coins and one thing I noticed was that all the silver was either pretty low grade or had damage, but this one particular piece did not look like any of the others. That, of course, proves nothing, but it also made me wonder why this one was so relatively well preserved while the others weren't.
I've included the image of your piece with the areas circled as well as an image of a coin from PCGS CoinFacts to compare it to. Please note that I do not own the coin that I took the image from off of PCGS CoinFacts and I did not produce the original image of that coin. I simply took the first piece from the same date that had relatively little toning to use as a comparison.

I appreciate your comments a lot. I am not familiar with US fakes. I would most likely recognize a Canada Fake from China or Lebanon. some years ago I had some personal experiences with them.
Have you had or heard of 1899 quarter fakes? I do not think someone would "make" one only.
