People will always want the 1776-2026 cents... and they will be big winners if this is actually the last cent too. But if they keep putting cents in sets in 2027 and beyond, slightly less so. We'll see!

Do people really think that a mintage like that, with a near 100% survival rate, is going to translate into a high priced coin UNLESS it gets into an MS-68 or higher grade in a slab?
That sure doesn't justify the price increase for a set of base metal coins. Sadly the way things are going, that might be the only way for most of us to get any semiquincentennial coins.
That's two completely different issues.
Is a 190,000 population circulation strike cent worth more than $50? Probably. That's all we really need to know.
You think that a cent with a mintage of 190,000 is going to be worth $50? Okay, maybe for you as a dealer, but I'll pass. The one in the Proof set will be enough for me.
It's not worth it to me as a dealer unless it's worth it to collectors.

This collector is done with modern cents. My 21st century type set only includes coins minted for circulation. Just too much waste keeping up with all the mint products.

Good God, there is! Over 66,000 AND OVER 44,000 Proof Sets
After the typical checkout error for subs came around, they pulled everything back down to ATS of 0 - there were about 40k and 36k respectively showing as available before they did it.
I tried several times to bump up my prior order and each time I hit
"GLOBAL LIMITS" more than a dozen times over a couple hours. I tried I left, cam back tried again, a few times.
I decided against just launching an additional order as in reality I have just what I care to get so it was more a learning experience. They could have got me for up to 5 more baseless metal sets, or 1 or 2 or 3 or 4. Log in, log out...

I wonder if those were the intended ATS figures for release day, and were made available in error? Who knows with US Mint 2026.

There's a bug. This happens every time they are released. When they are out, the red button stays on for a long time even thigh there aren't any available. I've done that a dozen times in the last week.

Same here. Each time the add to bag came up though, the ATS was minimal compared to today’s numbers. Saved you lots of money on those CC’s, though. lol.

Is that the most you’ve been able to add during these occasional opportunities? I saw those ATS numbers today and thought maybe sale date had moved to today and I missed the memo.
I have been adding a couple of subs along the way, why not? I'm just curious does it show/state anywhere that these are dual dated? Am I just missing it? The images are 2025 sets and I don't see anything in the description. I am assuming they are as the proof images show that, but...

Maybe that's all that will be available for sale on the sale date. If they honor all the subscriptions they sold I can see that happening. 40k for sale will last less than 2 minutes when they go live. Waiting room nightmares for anyone who tries to buy that day!

Possibly 99 in a single order?
It's 99 in a single order.
If you have sub of 99 in an account and try to add more, it tells you its over the HHL even though there isn't supposed to be one.
That's because the order maximum is 99. You can put a dozen 99's in there.
Have you done it? If you have a 99 in the account already, it will not let you add another subscription and the error states that the household limit is exceeded. If you reduce the 99 to 98, it will only let you add 1 more in a seperate subscription order. I am well-versed in the Mint's 99 per order limit. This is not it.

As the set stands today, is it worth the price the mint is asking? I see all high mintage stuff minus the Lincoln Set. I still think the mint will have to add another coin, which if they do then everyone here taking in subscriptions will look brilliant. Otherwise I am not convinced yet.
How many unc set subscriptions are you signed up for ?

At this point only five. I can say that with the potential release of another circulating coin which we all know might happen, and if that is included in this set then the value will certain be there depending on the mintage they do for it. Dollar coins aren't made in high amounts already so it will likely be a relatively low mintage coin, assuming it gets released and included in this set.
The silver set was pulled so maybe they are reworking all the sets. As usual the mint is not saying anything about this. The silver set will be nearly all low mintage coins as opposed to this set having more high mintage. Between the two sets the silver set seems a better gamble, but I don't want to say this one won't be as they have not announced anything and so hold all the subscriptions here until the final details get confirmed.
Takes no courage when you can reduce before release.
That makes the most sense to me, when there is uncertainty just max your subscription amount and cut it back or cancel/pause it when you decide but before shipment date cutoff (I think that is 5 days before release?).

I see no reason why they would add a coin or need to. The 2024 and earlier sets cost the same and have nothing unusual in them. You're making two assumptions, both of which are longshots:
1. That they are adding a coin.
2. That they are adding a coin that won't be available elsewhere.
Whether it turns out to be with it or not depends on the two Lincolns. Time will tell.
