Adding CAC designated coins

I’ve recently started collecting a PCGS set of quarter eagles with the CAC certification. I have a couple “in hand” that PCGS doesn’t recognize as CAC approved and therefore I can add them the the respective set. How do I go about resolving this issue?

I don't know, but it seems to me that PCGS has been actively ignoring registry questions and fixes for upwards of two years, so I wish you good luck.

For any CAC stickered coins that are not flagged as CAC stickered on our end, you can email us the cert numbers (no images needed) at PCGSsetregistry@collectors.com and we will get them flagged as soon as possible. Be sure to just include CAC in the subject line or body of the email.

Typically we will do it once a week, lately, we've been able to get them done a bit faster, but with Long Beach Expo next week, it might slow back down a bit.

I buy CAC stickered coins quite frequently. While it seems that many with older cert numbers and that were stickered many years ago will automatically populate CAC Only PCGS Registry sets, those coins that wère only stickered in the last few years are the ones that need manually help by Hy.

I’ve been successfully working with Hy for many months. He’s the best! We just need to get PCGS to get him some help with additional personnel!

A better suggestion is for PCGS to hire more competent programmers! MyCollect, run by Great Collections, had their programmers figure out how to automatically recognize if a cert # has a CAC sticker or not! ALL CAC stickered coins I buy auto populate all of their Registry sets with the extra points they give to CAC stickered coins, whether for their CAC Only Sets, or their regular sets! @Charles_Morgan , if the MyCollect Registry can do this seemlessly with no manual help, WHY can’t PCGS???? This would save @PCGS_Hy a LOT of time!!!

if the MyCollect Registry can do this seemlessly with no manual help, WHY can’t PCGS????

Because PCGS' corporate overlords have contempt for us as customers and would rather squeeze every last nickel out of the business than protect the fading value of what was once the pre-eminent brand in numismatics.
