First time this has happened to me

Got a notice for a coin to be removed from my set to be added to someone else’s? I typically don’t sell my coins so my sets never change. How does this happen? Used the tool to let PCGS know it is still in my set. Is this all I need to do or do I need to monitor my set? Thanks in advance

I have had this happen to me due to the fact that the NFC chip did not match with the printed cert#.
I used the phone app to install the coin and never looked at the printed label cert# so when the other party entered their cert#, it said that the coin was in my registry, so they made a request to remove it from my inventory.
I do not sell coins, so I knew something was wrong and when I checked the NFC code against the
listed cert#, it was off by 1 digit.
I sent the coin back to PCGS and they fixed the issue.
I got a free TrueView of the coin for my troubles.
I assume that the other "owner" had to do the same thing.
This was back in Paulina's day.
I now routinely check the NFC cert# verses the listed cert#.

I also had a request to remove the same coin from my set on 3 different occasions.
I kept denying the request.
Eventually PCGS contacted me to provide the pictures and etc. to prove that I still owned the coin.
Emilio called me later down the road to tell me that all was fixed as the requester kept typing in the wrong number.

I cause this issue sometimes for people...
"Some" sellers on eBay will use a generic picture but don't explicitly tell you that so I assume that I'm bidding on a coin in the picture...
To be fair to the sellers, any PR69DCAM/PR70DCAM really doesn't need a detailed picture. You know what you'll get...
