I guess you could attempt to inform the moderator(s) by using the @ feature with their user names. I do not know who they are at the moment, but am certain other folks will stop by to help you.

Click on their name next to where it shows how many posts they have. That will take you to their homepage. On the right of the screen near the top there is the word message in blue and then a small figure and down arrow. Click on that and ignore is an option.

If he had you on “Ignore” he wouldn’t see your posts but that wouldn’t stop you from seeing his. The fact that you’re not seeing his posts means that you must have him on “Ignore”.

I would not bother the moderators unless it is very serious. When this forum becomes too big a nuisance, they might just shut it down.

Nope! I don't CRH for them anymore because they are too damaged from circulation but I still check my change.

I once maxed my "Ignore" account with 5 scofflaws on "Ignore." I wanted to put a few more on "Ignore" but the system allowed me only 5 scoffs at a time to be honored with "Ignore" distinction. In a really sophisticated "Ignore" scenario the ignoring one wouldn't even see that one to ignore had even posted.Totally invisible, in other words.

Then there's the old fashioned way to ignore where you simply don't respond. I get that treatment from several of the so-called esteemed collectors.
Another option besides ignore is to consider if this forum is the right place for the emotional or informational needs of the OP. There are several other sites that might satisfy the poster.

Would be nice if the Ignore feature would make their entire posts invisible! At least it hides their comments so I can get through a thread much quicker everyday.

Don’t feed the trolls. You don’t know who these people are, their mental state, or in many instances where they are. When posting - Perhaps Keep it 6 -10 words or less, plain vanilla.
Beware some of them could be hackers, criminals, mentally ill. For security reasons perhaps don’t disclose your location, travel plans.
Block them, report them.

I checked out my ignore list. You are limited to five. One was banned years ago and another has not been on the site for over a year. I freed up those two spots and left the other two.

It depends on the troll. They all look for a reaction from the person that they are trolling. Since some trolls have more patience than others, the time will vary. Most trolls move on fairly quickly when they don't get any reaction.

I never used the ignore option. I just don't read what they post and move on. It takes a bit of will power but the older I get the better I get at it.
