A few days ago I bought the 1899 Morgan and the 1921 Peace Dollar from my friend.
My next step will be to either get the coin to Künker (they are having a event near me next month) or to ship it off to NGC in Munich for grading. (I choose them because I don't want to ship the coin abroad).
May want to also post photos here of the 1921 Peace Dollar because if it came from the same original source as the 1899 there is a small chance it could be more interesting than the average 1921.
However it would be far more difficult the tell much about the 1921 from photos than the 1899, though might give clues to whether it also is worth submitting to NGC.

Proof Morgan Dollars used their own special collar. If your coin has 179 reeds, it’s a Proof. Any other number, it’s Not a Proof. Count them twice and let us know. Best done with the coin in a plastic case.

Pretty standard AU-BU details, cleaned, but better than cull.
