Submission gone missing

My pack submission completed and grades posted 31 calendar days ago. But PSA still has not shipped it. Numerous calls including a long conversation with a supervisor and still no one has given me any explanation. Is the submission lost? Did they make a bonfire out of it? Apparently, there are no answers.

Has anyone else ever had this happen to you? Thanks for letting me rant. Beyond frustrating to me.

    Misery loves company.

I submitted my 1933 Goudey Lou Gehrig #92 PSA-6 to be re-holdered in early November. My credit card was charged on November 12, 2025. I assume then my card was sent to shipping department. The order has been completing since November 12. And the card has been re-holdered when I enter the certification number in its database….the card shows up in its new holder.

Is it lost, stolen, shipped accidentally to someone else, or the holder damaged during shipping which then damaged the $26,000 card and the shippers swept it under rug? All possibilities have to be considered if the card is not found. It was a less than $50k but greater than $20k re-holder…and should have been completed in 7 business days.

PSA either find my card or fork over $26,000+!

    Looking for a lawyer…

PS(A)…I will never send another item ever again to these dolts!

    A little advice to others:

Put your next of kin on your submission in case you pass b4 completed!

Monte, that really blows. What the hell is going on at that place? Do they give you any explanation when you call them? Why am I starting to suspect there is some major theft going on in that place???

I have been told when inquiring minds want to know is that PSA has asked shipping why it has not been shipped. I think shipping does not have to answer to anyone at PSA. I am concerned something shady like theft could have happened.

Interestingly, another re-holder in the same shipment at lesser value (1941 Play Ball Ted Williams PSA-6.5) was received back on November 20, 2025.

Hmmm... So you received The 1941 Williams PSA 6.5 reholder in the "same shipment".. What do you mean by "same shipment"?

This is highly disturbing on so many levels. I hope both of you guys get back soon the items you entrusted into PSA's care.

I had four (4) orders shipped to PSA in the same Fed Ex package: two (2) re-holders and two (2) SGC crossovers. Three (3) of the four (4) orders arrived back to me in a timely manner on three (3) different dates in November 2025. The 1933 Goudey Lou Gehrig #92 PSA-6 (the most expensive card of the four) is who knows what happened to it. PSA cannot tell me! The Goudey Gehrig has been in the completing stage of the process since November 12, 2025, and no tracking number has been provided yet for the Gehrig card.

That is pretty messed up, but in both Monte's and my case our stuff didn't even ship out. They just disappeared after "completing".

Someone mentioned on this thread that PSA was 60 days behind…and that lines up well. However…the other three (3) orders in the same package sent to PSA arrived in a timely manner. Just happy I will have the card back…

For years items bound for Consignment at Heritage was being jacked in Dallas. Nowhere is safe repeat NOWHERE IS SAFE! when bad actors know where "the money" is going. Most of what was stolen was Comic Art, NOT Comic books, in 5 & 6 figure range. Since it was inbound, Heritage never got involved. It seems to have stopped in 2025...

As Comic Art is one of kind it does limit the pool of buyers. A small amount was recovered months later in a Comic shop in Mississippi and made its way back to the owner. Not sure where the investigation led as right after is when CGC began banning hundred active participants from their forums for referencing "bananagate" in fact until they removed it using their dancing banana emoji (my infraction apparently) would without warning lead to a being banned. CGC is pure evil.

I just entered the tracking number provided by PSA...and it says shipment has been cancelled. So...after freaking out once more, I called PSA and asked what is going on. And the tracking number apparently has been changed. Geez! I had to down another klonepin...can't wait to have my hands on that card and the card to leave the PSA prison. What a stressor!

FedEx is still 3 companies. Freight, Ground, and Express, with Express being the OG.

Ship with Express and all is well. Ground is contractors. In case anyone didn't know. I'm glad all is presumably well.

You’re right about that. I guess I should say to use one of the core express services to stay in the new network until the federation is completed. I only recommend it as the most reliable service.

I did not ask for a refund or credit since I will not review anymore cards with the current grading standards at PSA or re-holder anymore cards (after this nightmare) with just a few cards (5) on my want list and shopping for cards only in current PSA holders.

Based on value ( more than $20k…but less than $50k)…I paid $188.99 for the re-holder.

Shocked they didn’t up charge y’all for all the extra days having the cards they must have needed insurance on. Or 7 bus days after nov 12th they could have charged you 5times as they probably graded it 5x being 7weeks after the deadline. You got lucky it only cost you 188.99 for the psa case.

This is one of the reasons i don't want to have my high end cards re-holdered. Not worth the headache.

Why oh why does PSA not offer USPS registered mail shipments anymore? It might take longer but for I hate dealing with FedEx and their lack of security.

Regarding FedEx, you might want to avoid them during the holidays. They hire a lot of temporary people at that time to help with the Christmas glut of packages. i suppose USPS might too.

I worked for them a couple of years ago to make a little money for Christmas, and was pretty amazed at their lack of security.

Also noticed I was delivering a LOT of mail that was in USPS packages. Not sure how that effects things, but I thought it was strange. Maybe instead of hiring, the USPS just uses FedEx?

I have just noticed that my submission at a show in November has gone missing. The order number is not coming up as valid. I have the form with the initials of the employee that took the cards, but I can no longer email PSA directly. These were all signed cards submitted for autograph authentication and grading. I'm worried sick that my cards are now missing because somewhere along the way, PSA failed to enter my order into the system.

It sounds like PSA is about a month or two behind when it comes to logging in orders. I don’t think you have anything to worry about because there are many many of us in the same boat.

I will not submit any big cards for grade or review anymore. shipping to and from just gives me too much anxiety. Even selling big cards gives me too much stress. the times i have sold cards at around the 5 figure mark is just miserable. the waiting. I have always used USPS Registered for those type of cards, but even still...
