Nice of you to crack all the coins out of their slabs so that you could show us this great Old School photo!

Llamas and alpacas are camels. They aren't like camels, or related. They are camels. When was anyone going to tell me this?! How long had Bill Nye been holding out on us?

Weehaw!! "Only" two coins to complete the set!
lol...
ha, that's funny!!
It's a truly spectacular set... like museum quality... and not taking ANYTHING away. I think it must be an odd predicament to be in to actually have the money to complete such a masterpiece of numismatics but not have the coins available at auction to do so. That's a frustration I'll likely not experience in my lifetime...
Once again... Congrats to the OP and thanks for sharing...

Wow!
They just have that color ‘pop’ of Superb Gem Trade Dollars.
What an amazing group of coins.
30+ years coin shop experience (ret.) Coins, bullion, currency, scrap & interesting folks. Loved every minute!
Before I viewed the pictures, it would have been hard to imagine that I’d be even more impressed than I’d anticipated. But I was. Whoa!

Incredible. They have a wonderful matched look. Is this “tissue paper” toning from how they were wrapped when issued?
Most, yes. I’d say the 1875 & 1877 are album toned and the 1882 pouch or something else toned.
Wow! Superb group!

Amazing quality and consistency. I wonder how long it took to acquire these 11 coins?
I was lucky to purchase the 73, 74 & 76 as a group from a private party about 5 years ago- those motivated me to do a color set.
Interesting. Definitely a great way to start. Still. five years seems like a very short time to put together this world class set. Congratulations!
Simply, Stunning!
