Finished my Run of Iconic Cards...

I had to part with a number of nice cards including ten (10)...I hated to sell...to fund these iconic cards.
I just wanted to share this fun run...keeping these iconic cards for years to come. To see these all together...
it is a little unbelievable. I never thought I would own such cards. I tried to focus on color...and decent centering (only
the DiMaggio is off-centered more than I like...but makes up for it in image clarity (exceptional for the issue) and sharp corners for the grade as well as beautiful color).

Really sharp cards Monte - and I do believe in quality over quantity unless it's quantity quality?

Superb cards - I really like the colors in the 41 Playball Williams & DiMaggio.

They all have incredible eye appeal for the grade! Well done! I've thrown around the idea of doing something similar, helps condense the collection, while still putting back into it at the same time.

Fantastic cards! The colors really pop on all of these. It's hard to pick a favorite among this group, but I really like the Ruth and DiMaggio.

Heck of a top 10! Curious, from what you sold, what are a couple that were really tough to let go?

Sell quality to acquire iconic cards…yes, it was tough.

Those were some amazing cards you also had but I am pretty darn sure that you will do much better long term with the ones you have now in the grand scheme of things.

That Jackie is a crazy PSA 4..... it's my fave by a nose over the Ruth.

Best advice I was given was to “give up the good to get the great.” You can always go back and pick up the good cards if you miss them later.

Now that is an Elite Eight. Nice eye and outstanding cards!

Mint -- that's some true bling, bruh!!! The way you collect probably makes the most dollars and sense. Just go big, best centered you can get.

Work hard and you will succeed!!

Wow Monte I know you were looking for a Mays in a 6. That 7 blows me away! What a group of cards. All of them are beautiful but that Paige has the best image I have ever seen on that card. Great job.

Quite remarkable, congratulations!!! I notice a lot of newer labels... what are your thoughts? Are the non-grading crowd submitting "valuable" cards or possible crossovers from other companies?
