I looked through my loose coins last night and came up with a roll of UNC Roosevelt Dimes and Washington Quarters.... all dated 1960. A completed Whitman album of Roosevelt Dimes. About a dozen WLH and Franklins, a worn 1934-D Peace Dollar... not much.
I might try to find a local dealer and see what I'd get offered... anyone know what the going rates are (realized) for 90%? Are B&M shops even dealing with this sort of material?
Today would not be a good day to sell given the sharp drop in metal prices. I have heard lots of different stories on what a local brick and mortar shop is paying for 90% or gold. Everything from around 90% of spot to as little as 65% of spot. Seems that it will really depend on what your local shop owners think of where the market for metals is heading long term, and if they have the ability to unload it quickly to an open refinery.
I went to a B&M to sell some ASE's, Maples and proof ASE's a few weeks ago. Looked like new owners (you know the Shop Ron. Halfway between us). $4 back of spot was the offer on all, even the OGP proofs. Now I'm glad they weren't interested and for sure I'll be taking a short drive down 405 next time I look to sell. $4?

May want to see, if you have more than a few of the ASE Proofs, if anyone on the board is taking them. I remember selling mine to Todd (Blu62vette) and he may have a pipeline to sell them still. His prices were fair, imo

My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
I won’t be selling anything anytime real soon based on today’s silver market.

Are you raiding your albums, yet, to sell the silver (or gold) for the current prices?
My coveted LOC albums? Nope. But I did offload a bunch of junk 90% and scrap gold.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Dont do albums or raw. Just slabbed coins. Have reviewed if anything needs price adjustment (bull market). Sales have been good.
I'll let you all know how it goes...
