Apologies for the late post. My old phone took a rather unplanned and forceful journey to the pavement.
Post 'email if you've got them. Bolivia!!

I think I only have two - a rough old cob and this one, one of my favorite error coins.
This is a pseudo-pattern or medal for the installation of new electric minting machinery at the Potosí Mint.
Very scarce in UNC. Even the guy who wrote the book on Bolivian medals had a low grade example. I bought his, and have now upgraded to this example.

Oooof, I have a lot of Bolivian coins.
I'm BACK!!! Used to be Billet7 on the old forum.
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
US minted 50c coin from 1942:
Assuming coins minted at Potosí before the nation of Bolivia was established can be included, this one counts, too.

I have actually been to the Potosi Mint! I have wanted a nice memento for a while now but every time I buy a coin it grades better than expected and I sell it for a profit. All things sacrificed in the search for shillings.

The best collecting goals lie right on the border between the possible and the impossible. - Andy Lustig, "MrEureka"
One boliviano from 1868, during the reign of Bolivia's most erratic president, General Melgarejo.
The so-called "eleven-star type," as opposed to the "nine-star type" that existed before 1867 and would continue to exist after 1870. The two additional stars on the coat of arms of Bolivia symbolize the republic's two new departments.
On September 5, 1866, by decree of President General Mariano Melgarejo, two departments were created: Mejillones and Tarata. I don't know what events the general had with Mejillones, but Tarata was Melgarejo's birthplace. The departmental capital (also Tarata) was logically renamed Melgarejo and declared the capital of the Republic of Bolivia.
After Melgarejo's overthrow, the new president, Agustín Morales, annulled his predecessor's decisions on January 15, 1871, and nine stars were reinstated on the coat of arms.
