Half of my inventory images have disappeared

For at least a week now, whether I open my 352 slab inventory with the Set Registry app on my iPhone 16 or on the website on my desktop, laptop, and my wife’s laptop, when my inventory loads, almost half of my images, some are my own custom images for coins that do not have TrueViews and the others of course are TriuViews, each time same coins do not display images.
However if I click on the coin in my inventory the image loads in the next screen, but my images STILL do not appear in my main inventory.
I’ve given it a week but it is not resolved. I sent Set Registry an email and absolutely nothing happened. I was completely ignored.
This needs to be fixed. Is anyone else experiencing this or is it just me?

I am dealing with the same thing. I first noticed they were missing early last week, around the same time that you referenced. The majority of the coins in my sets have TrueViews, but only some are showing up. Even stranger, I may have the same coin in multiple sets and the image will show up in certain sets but not others.

For example, the TrueView of my 1856 Braided Hair Large Cent MS65RB shows up in my Basic Type Set but not in my 7070.

    Basic Type Set:

    7070:

The image of my 1858 Flying Eagle Cent, which also has a TrueView, is missing from both sets.

If they're breaking the images again, maybe that's a sign that they're finally getting ready to announce the digital album award candidates that none of us will be able to see to vote on...

  • I received an email from Set Registry dept. they never received my initial email about it, but no matter. They saw what I posted here and the nice person was forwarding the issue to the IT department.

So according to them it’s being addressed. I don’t know if it will be a global fix that will correct the issue for all, or if they have to address each user individually, which could take some time.

I’ll let you guys know when I have more information.

I just noticed that several of my images have disappeared also.

  • Quite a few of my TrueView images have disappeared also

  • Mine too...

Just added a couple and I noted the same thing ( about 10 to 15 images missing) ... I seem to think it is not the Trueview images but the ones that predate the Secured TV - more of their coin-fact images that PCGS default to if there was not a newer TV format ?

  • Some of mine have also been disappeared, others been mixed...

  • Hi everyone, on November 20 I received a reply from a PCGS Customer Care representative about this (global) issue of TrueView images disappearing from members' sets, as follows:

"Yes, this is a known issue that we have an open ticket with our IT team. Unfortunately, we do not have an ETA on a fix at the moment. I do sincerely apologize for the inconvenience here."

My desire to visit the PCGS registry to view my coins and sets (and those of other collectors), and even my desire to hunt for new coins to fill open slots has waned dramatically as a result of this issue.

  • I agree and there's not much point sending PCGS coins in to be reholdered for TrueView images, either. I have sent in 100s over the past 5 years and now can't view many of them.

  • Does anybody have an idea on how long this issue has persisted? It’s been most of 2025 for me. Heard back from a rep recently after sending yet another email to ask why this continues to happen. As of December 12th there is still no fix.

I never want to come off as being a “Debbie Downer,” but this might be the straw that breaks the camel’s back for me when it comes to PCGS. If they can’t properly address such an obvious and ongoing problem, it makes me question what’s really happening behind closed doors with the quality of their grading assessments. Several months ago I even suggested that they raise their membership fees so that they can get the website working properly for once.

For those of you that haven’t played around with it yet, CAC’s registry works flawlessly. Might be time to reholder my toned Lincolns at CAC and leave PCGS in the dust because I agree with one of the comments above in that this issue takes the fun out of the hobby.

Rant complete. Hopefully this gets fixed soon. Happy collecting, all.

How about a whole set. Retired a set. It stayed up as a retired set. Then disappeared. There was a blank spot where it had been. 🤔

PCGS doesn't have time for registry problems. They have their new glossy magazine to get out that is so integral to their business plan.

One way, not the easiest, is instead of having the app automatically populate the TrueViews is to manually add them to your inventory or Registry.

I am also experiencing this issue.

In addition, none of my sets are loading in the app today at all.

I will be devoting more time to sprucing up my CAC and MyCollect Registries, which have the added bonus of opening up other grading service coins as potential collection candidates.

Edit: looks like the entire Registry is down, as it’s returning an error on the website as well. Not a good look for our hosts right before FUN.

I have had a set go from #1 to #29 as 4 coins suddenly do not allocate to the set.
They are in my inventory so I decided to report a cert that should match this set.
When I did this, I get a reply that I have already submitted a request to have these coins added.
Now the set does not even show up on the registry listings, but it does under MY SETS!
I give up with trying to figure out what the heck is going on.

This issue of disappearing Trueviews has gone on for two or three years now and I have never found trying to add manual images to be a solution for me. I sold my Lincoln registry sets a couple of years ago and have pretty much quit buying PCGS coins.

The funny thing is a third-party site like MyCollect has no problem pulling in 100% of the available TrueViews but PCGS can't even get their own registry to pull images from their own database with any consistency. I can't imagine that MyCollect has more dedicated tech resources than a billion dollar company like CU, so what is the issue?
