Help with an Indian?

I came across this little indian and I know zero about these. With my less than perfect measuring skills it comes to 8.4 grams and just a hair under 22mm in diameter.

Any guesses to it's grade? Looks authentic? Thoughts appreciated.

Thank you.

ps. it doesnt come across well in the iphone pics but there is quite a bit of luster and i do not believe the coin to have been cleaned. The pics make it look "shiny" but it's not, its more lustery if that makes any sense.

Looks bad to me. Heavily counterfeited series.

Yeah, I don't know the series well but it does look off and thus my (quick) conclusion is counterfeit.

You are correct in that the photo does make it look shiny so it is hard to judge.

Does the luster bands you see "flare" around the eagle's head to the edge of the coin? Sorry...it's a bit hard to describe in words. If so that's a good thing...however, there doesn't seem to be any evidence of that in the photo....there it just looks flat.

Your pics are less than ideal but it does look to be authentic. It's a better date and it's worth getting slabbed.

My guess is that the coin is genuine and cleaned.

    XF details, cleaned. Probably genuine.

Your photos aren't too good, but your diameter and weight appear to be in the ball park. Worth getting authenticated imho.
